European Union Chamber Orchestra, Cambridge Corn Exchange

  • Corn Exchange Street Cambridge, England, CB2 United Kingdom (map)

The European Union Chamber Orchestra takes you on a tour of classical greats! Annemarie Federle leads the orchestra in Mozart’s beloved Horn Concerto No 4. Originally from Cambridge, Annemarie has won awards and plaudits worldwide including the top prize in the brass category at the BBC Young Musician competition.

Holst’s peppy Moorside Suite, cheerful and adventurous as a brisk morning walk, pairs perfectly with Grieg’s soulful composition for strings, Two Elegiac Melodies.

Works by Haydn and Cherubini, among the most revered composers of their eras, round out this eclectic evening of incredible musicianship.

Holst – A Moorside Suite

Mozart – Horn Concerto No. 4

Cherubini – Sonata for Horn & Strings

Grieg – Two Elegiac Melodies, op.34

Haydn – Symphony No. 57
